On 25 February 2010 the European University student association met to show their support to the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Haiti caused by the earthquake of 12 January 2010.
The fundraising event, held in the fashionable Geneva restaurant and club Gold & Platinum, was well attended by the international EU student community and raised over 2000 CHF (1300 €) in donations on the night. Collection boxes are in place across EU campuses and funds will be passed to charities Caritas, UNICEF and the Red Cross.
Special thanks should go to year 3 BBA student and student board vice-president Paulina Correa for her organizational and creative input to this project.
