European University continues to be a proud supporter and donator of the Yirwal community project as an integral part of its social responsibility policies.
A year ago EU sponsored the construction of two fully-equipped flour mills in the Burkina Faso village. Mrs. Anne Rosat, who coordinates the project locally, reports that the women of Yirwal are extremely thankful for EU assistance. The new mills have had a very positive effect on the local community, saving precious commuting time, empowering the local villagers and providing other social benefits. The Yirwal Women's Association proudly reports that the mills continue to turn in a substantial profit.
Mrs. Rosat, who is a famous artist, gives some of her time and energy for social projects like Yirwal. Her message to European University students is that as future business leaders they can make a real difference to quality of life by committing their time or money to community social projects. European University would like to thank Mrs. Rosat for leading this project and for her regular progress updates.
