European University Students

European University Geneva is a business school with a truly global perspective. You will join an ever-expanding multicultural community; every semester the university opens its doors to students of more than 100 nationalities. EU students support each other as they adapt to life in Geneva, sharing a full and varied social life and ultimately building lifelong friendships and professional networks.

Situated on the river Rhone, Geneva is the capital of the Republic and Canton of Geneva with a population of almost 200,000 and an area of 15.86 km2. It is a cosmopolitan city and a world financial and diplomatic center. New students will be joining the thousands of international business professionals, overseas workers and tourists who choose Geneva year after year.

The Student Board

Each year, the European University Geneva student body elects representatives to the campus’ Student Board. The Student Board publishes newsletters and organizes a busy calendar of social, charity, sporting and cultural events.

Important Visa Notice

Swiss authorities must have evidence that a university place has been reserved for the student and also require a bank letter certifying the applicant’s financial solvency. Please click here for complete visa instructions.

Swiss law also requires that international students have medical insurance (to cover medical and hospital fees and prescription medication). The EU Geneva admissions team can help.
