Over the last few days, EU has been welcoming new students from all over the globe to our campuses in Barcelona, Geneva, Montreux and Munich. The days have seen various presentations, workshops and talks given by various members of faculty and staff. They have imparted general advice, in order to ensure the students settle into their new cities as easily and smoothly as possible. The social events over the last couple of days have also been a huge success, with students meeting their fellow classmates during various activities, from city tours and wine tastings to treasure hunts and selfie competitions.
Across all the campuses, faculty, staff and alumni alike made sure new students felt welcome, reassured and happy in their new homes. They covered topics including accommodation, visas, insurance and professional development, giving recent arrivals an insight into their new lives and ensuring they felt comfortable and happy with this next stage of their academic careers.
New students on the Munich campus were given a very useful German survival course courtesy of Mr. Martin, and then later enjoyed various bonding activities under the expert (and enjoyable) guidance of EU Business School lecturer, Egon Zank. Meanwhile in EU Barcelona, orientation activities and informative talks were followed by a round-the-city bus tour and a very enjoyable wine tasting session. On the Geneva campus, a scavenger hunt invited everyone to get involved and a trip to the bowling alley ensured everyone got chatting!
We’d like to say a big welcome to the new EU students, and wish them an extremely successful and bright future with us – we’ll be with you every step of the way!
