Communications and Marketing Lecturer
Munich campus
Previous to teaching at EU, Shawn Butler worked with numerous non-profit organizations in the Central Texas region in the areas of leadership management, member training, recruiting, marketing, public relations, advertising, grant writing, fundraising, and operations. A great public speaker, Butler has no problem captivating the interest of her listeners. At EU, Butler primarily focuses her attention on instructing written and communicative English, working with students from their first year at EU right through to their graduate studies. Butler loves what she does, working with students and helping them to discover their strengths and passion for communication. Typically, Butler finds that students know more than they realize and enjoys being part of their "ah-ha" moment - likening it to peeling an onion!
“Excellent communication skills set college graduates apart from the competition. They are essential for an individual’s longterm business and personal success.”
