Admission process for the International Summer School

We understand that choosing a summer school program that sets you in good stead for further academic study is a process that requires a lot of research and deliberation. Our admissions team is available to help you with any queries or questions you might have, and we invite you to use all the resources available to find out more about us: visit our campuses; meet our current students; and attend classes and open day sessions.

Requirements

AGE REQUIREMENTS

You must be at least 18 years old to apply.

MINIMUM ENGLISH REQUIREMENTS

Proof of English level: Minimum TOEFL score 80 (internet-based), 213 (computer-based); IELTS score 6.0; CAE score C; PTE Academic score 57; English native or equivalent.

Application Process

A) ONLINE

  1. Fill out the International Summer School online application form.

  2. Receive an an email with instructions on how to submit further documentation.

B) EMAIL

  1. Download, print and fill in the International Summer School application form.

  2. Scan and send the completed application form via email to admissions.

  3. Receive an email with instructions on how to submit further documentation.


Submitting the application package:

The admissions department of your chosen campus will contact you by email with instructions on how to submit your application package. Send your application package containing the requested documents by post or email (if applicable). The admissions department will confirm receipt via email.

Additional Documentation

All applicants should submit the following documents in order to complete the application process:

  • 1 completed application form (if the application was not filled in online)

  • Proof of English level: TOEFL score 80 (internet-based), 213 (computer-based); IELTS score 6.0; CAE score C; PTE Academic score 54; English native or equivalent

  • €/CHF 200 non-refundable application fee. Please attach a money order, check or receipt for a bank transfer payable to EU

Start Dates

The International Summer School takes place once a year in July on our Barcelona campus. 

The International Summer School start dates are:

  • Summer 2018: July 2

  • Summer 2019: July 1

  • Summer 2020: June 29

HOW MUCH IS TUITION?

The all-inclusive fee for the International Summer School is €3,000.

I HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED TO EU BUSINESS SCHOOL. WHAT SHOULD I DO NEXT?

Pay the advanced payment and confirm your intention to attend by paying the first installment of the program. Upon receipt, we will send you confirmation of your enrollment at EU.

I HAVE PAID MY DEPOSIT. WHAT SHOULD I DO NEXT?

The admissions department will contact you to offer assistance and answer any other questions that you might have.

HOW DO I PAY TUITION FEES?

Students can pay their tuition fees via bank transfer or check. Once we receive the completed application (online or via email), the admissions department will send the information about tuition fee payments.

I HAVE PAID MY FEES AND HAVE RECEIVED A VISA. WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

The academic department will email you class timetables before the beginning of the academic semester.

HOW DO I FIND OUT ABOUT ACCOMMODATION?

Please contact the admissions department for housing advice.

DO I NEED HEALTH INSURANCE?

Health insurance is mandatory in most European countries. Students are requested to obtain health insurance themselves. Please do not hesitate to contact EU if you need any assistance.
