BA (Hons) in Business Management & Marketing

BA (Hons) in Business Management (Marketing)

The BA (Hons) in Business Management (Marketing) is a six-semester, three-year program (180 ECTS). This program provides students with a solid foundation in the marketing discipline. Students will benefit from problem-based learning, real world projects and case studies. Experiential and active learning are frequently used in the classroom; cases, along with projects, allow students to apply their experiences and theory to real-life scenarios to build their skill set and profiles.

The first year comprises core courses to give students a solid grounding in business while the second and third years incorporate specific subjects such as marketing across cultures, brand impact and popular culture, and consumer behavior to provide a cross-cultural perspective. In the third year, students are required to undertake a business consultancy project where they apply the knowledge attained throughout the course.

As a partner student of the University of Derby, students are granted access to the University’s online learning environment ‘University of Derby Online (UDo)’ where they are able to access program resources related specifically to their degree, the University’s library and grades.
