Overview
International Summer School gives students an introduction to business studies while allowing them to enjoy their summer break in Barcelona and make friends from all over the world.
The program takes place in July and August at EU Business School (EU) and is specifically designed for high school students aged 16 to 18 who are considering studying business for their bachelor’s degree. For three weeks, students get a taste of business studies at the university level, as the academic content has been adapted from EU’s first-year bachelor’s curriculum, and covers some of the main functional areas of business with a focus on entrepreneurship and soft skills development. The program culminates with the creation of a startup business plan which students will develop and present in groups. The program's emphases align with EU’s commitment to creating future global business leaders.
Classes are delivered in the morning and are followed by soft skills development workshops on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons. Additionally, sports, social, and cultural activities are organized on Monday and Thursday afternoons and on the weekends to provide students with a truly enriching experience. From sports to sightseeing tours to day trips to the coast, these exciting outings help students learn more about Spanish culture and build a network of lifelong international friendships.

Success Stories
We were encouraged to step outside of the classroom with the cultural and industrial visits. We went to Sitges and Girona to discover a little more about Spanish culture. In Barcelona, we enjoyed a guided tapas tour and visited Camp Nou. This summer school has been designed for us – young, international students who want to learn, but at the same time have an unforgettable experience.
