Montreux is located along the shores of Lake Geneva, at the foot of the Swiss Alps. It is a vibrant town full of fun and culture, with a huge international student population. With numerous attractions, restaurants, bars and parks within walking distance of the central EU campus, Montreux is the perfect venue for both studying and socializing in a postcard setting.
The campus is found in the center of town, just a few minutes’ walk from a number of cafes, restaurants and the main shopping center. The campus offers a fantastic learning environment which caters to all the needs of EU Business School Montreux students: a computer lounge which is complemented by a speedy, campus-wide Wi-Fi connection, spacious classrooms, state-of-the-art teaching equipment and a library.
The library features key textbooks and periodicals for students’ reference, and the Wi-Fi enables access to the award-winning online learning resource ProQuest, which is also available remotely via the intranet. As well as the EU library, there is a comprehensive public library, the Bibliothèque Municipal de Montreux, on the same street as the campus.
We use a combination of classroom theory and hands-on experiential learning that draws on both the American business education model and European learning methodologies. EU’s pragmatic approach to business education prepares students for careers in today’s rapidly evolving and globalized business world.
The EU Business School Montreux campus is found conveniently in the town center, just a few minutes’ walk from the main shopping center and an eclectic variety of cafes and restaurants. Some of those restaurants and bars include: Harry’s Bar, Mayfair Bar, Barrel Oak, La Rouvenaz, Au Parc, Palais Oriental, Beijing Town and Restaurant Fuji.
For students that like to keep on top of their fitness, it’s easy to walk around the stunning city itself, and surrounding countryside trails are never far away. For those training seriously, there are two fitness clubs just a short walk away from the university: Forum and Let’s Go.
Montreux is also much known for its rich cultural environment, showcasing events such as the Montreux Jazz Festival and famous Christmas Markets. Another landmark of the city includes the Freddy Mercury Statue, a tribute to the Queen frontman who spent the last years of his life in Montreux.
