EU Business School Announces Dual MBA Degree with Charleston College

EU Business School, in its continuing endeavor to create strategic partnerships with prestigious educational institutions worldwide, is pleased to announce its dual MBA degree program with the College of Charleston, in Charleston, South Carolina, USA.

EU Business School E-Newsletter August 2011

The objective of the EU-College of Charleston partnership is to provide a comprehensive, international management education, preparing ethical and socially responsible entrepreneurs, managers and executives who, armed with two MBAs, will innovate, create growth and excel in their area of expertise. EU Business School and College of Charleston are dedicated to the shared ideals of promoting sustainability, interconnectivity and new technology in today's business world.

The academic association with College of Charleston is part of an evolving collaboration with the American institution. In 2010, EU Switzerland was honored to invite Dr. Rhonda Mack, associate dean of College of Charleston, to give the commencement address to EU graduates at EU's executive headquarters in Château Maison Blanche in Yvorne, Switzerland.

Founded over 240 years ago, the College of Charleston is one of the oldest universities in the United States. Accredited by AACSB and internationally renowned for the quality of its faculty and programs, the College of Charleston Business School offers cutting-edge management courses for future business leaders.

EU President Dirk Craen visited the Charleston campus earlier this year to meet with the business school's administration and develop the dual degree program, which is designed principally for working professionals.

The program, to be launched in January 2012, will take place at EU Business School's campuses in Barcelona, Geneva, and Munich, and courses will be taught by both College of Charleston and EU professors.

The dual MBA is a one year program, with 12 courses offered throughout the year, one weekend per month. Upon completion, graduates will receive an MBA from both EU and College of Charleston.

The MBA is the authoritative degree in business education, and receiving two degrees, one from the United States and one from Europe, gives professionals a distinctive international advantage in our global economy.
