The University of California, Riverside (UCR), founded in 1954, is one of the most ethnically- and economically-diverse universities in the U.S.A. The campus occupies 1,200 acres of suburban Riverside, California; 80km east of Los Angeles. The 2013 U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges Rankings places UCR 46th among top public universities. The award-winning university counts nearly 80,000 alumni, many of whom have gone on to make noteworthy contributions to modern society.
After completing five semesters at EU, undergraduate students are eligible to spend a year at the University of California, Riverside. In addition to their EU bachelor’s degree, students gain a postgraduate diploma in one of the following majors of their choice:
- business management
- tourism and hospitality management
- entertainment and media management
- public policy and international relations
- sports management
Upon graduation, students are eligible for Optional Practical Training (OPT), which allows students to stay in the US for up to one year for paid work in their field. OPT is optional and students are responsible for finding an employer.
