Joanne Jankowski is an American/Polish lecturer of communications and human resources management at both the undergraduate and master’s level at the EU Switzerland campuses. She is also a professional and personal coach, a service she offers on a freelance basis. The professional background of Jankowski includes six years at Tesco in Poland, where she was responsible for setting up the initial Tesco recruitment process in the country. She rose up the ladder at Tesco, progressing from junior seasonal coordinator to senior seasonal coordinator and later promotions & seasonal operations manager. She later worked in promotional strategy management, where she played a key role in setting up the new trade planning department within central marketing. The new promotion strategy and trade plan processes and procedures she and the team successfully developed were later introduced in four other countries.
