Peter Viktorov Naydenov studied an MBA at EU, majoring in entrepreneurship, from 2016 to 2017. Now an international brand manager at Grossmann Uhren GmbH, the EU alumnus talks to us about his experience at EU and the benefits of making connections at a top European business school.

Why did you choose to study at EU Business School?

I wanted to start something on my own. EU offered entrepreneurship on the MBA program. They also offered an MBA program that I could study after work, which was really interesting for me.

Do you think your time studying at EU Business School will benefit your career?

It already did benefit my career! You make a lot of connections. At the commencement celebrations at Hotel Bayerischer Hof there were 90 students from 34 nations. This is a huge net of connections that you can use afterwards. I already did. I contacted these people to help me to acquire a new job.

Did EU events help you make connections?

EU events are great. You have perfect professionals coming here. One particular event that was really important for me was Baselworld. I decided to go one day, privately, only to see some companies and some brands, to see the new collection. The second day was organized by EU. Dr. Craen was there and students from all EU campuses also. We saw the CEO of …… and the CEO of Blancpain, who we could speak with. We saw the marketing director of Tissot and so on. These were really interesting meetings. It was this event that helped me to acquire my job.
