The Capital of Culture and Business on the Mediterranean
A major economic power in Spain, Barcelona prides itself on a collection of innovative entrepreneurs and growing business industries. With a very reasonable cost of living and endless opportunities to play sports and socialize, Barcelona is the perfect location for your international business education.
With the city and beach at its doorstep Barcelona has rapidly become a center for young, creative talent, with hundreds of startups and entrepreneurs embarking on business ventures here. Home to FC Barcelona and Antoni Gaudí, the city has made a name for itself as the cosmopolitan capital of the Mediterranean.
A global city with a local identity, Barcelona welcomes new ideas with open arms. This is exemplified by Fira Barcelona, a venue that hosts events such as the Mobile World Congress, eFintech, and Bizbarcelona, attracting 2.5 million visitors and 30,000 companies each year.
Barcelona has something for everyone. Some of largest music festivals in Europe including Sónar and Primavera Sound are held each year. Ski trips to the Pyrenees are also frequent in winter, and the nearby Costa Brava makes sun-soaked getaways a must in the summer. Barcelona is also home to 20 Michelin-starred restaurants, a true foodie paradise.
However, the true beauty of Barcelona lies in its relaxed way of life. Patios are open all year long where you can chat with friends, share a vermouth and watch people pass by.
Two State.of-the-Art Campus Buildings
EU Barcelona has two campus locations which are close to the city center. With 6,000 m2 and 39 spacious classrooms with large windows providing lots of natural light, both buildings have been designed to offer its 1,400-strong multicultural student body the perfect environment for study and relaxation. Both campus sites boast bright and airy study rooms, a library and a fun student lounge.
Our diagonal building is situated at the hub of the Barcelona business district. Opened in 2017 with state-of-the-art study facilities, this ten-floor building overlooks Avinguda Diagonal, one of the city’s largest avenues. It is in easy reach of the city center being on the main bus, tram and metro lines. One of the city’s main shopping malls, L’illa, is found just across the street, and there are plenty of cafés in the area to relax during study periods.
Our five-floor Ganduxer building is situated within the elegant neighborhood of La Bonanova. Favored by international consulates and embassies, it is just a ten-minute train ride to Plaza Cataluña and the world-famous Rambles.
