Students of the Business Management & International Business program learn about business in the modern global context. They develop the skills necessary to examine and analyze business trends, acquire and hone leadership methods and study principles integral to management, operations and employment. Students will learn techniques for managing organizational change and learn to seeing the world through their customers’ eyes. As a graduate, you will be prepared to start your own international business, join an already existing company or help expand a local company’s international reach.
The Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Business Management & International Business prepares students for future careers in global business ventures and large international organizations. In addition, students will:

How You Earn Your Degree
The Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Business Management & International Business program lasts three years, with each year divided into two semesters. Each semester students complete three courses, including company visits and guest speaker sessions. On graduation, you will earn a U.K. state-accredited bachelor’s degree awarded by the University of Derby. The University of Derby is a public university recognized by the U.K. government’s higher education authorities. The university was ranked one of the top 30 universities by The Guardian University Guide 2019 and in the top 10 for business and marketing. This program is also accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).
