Only open in summer, Les Voiles Restaurant by Genève-Plage was the backdrop for the latest EU alumni event in Switzerland. Perched on the waterfront of Lake Geneva, the yacht club hosted EU Alumni’s Annual Afterwork Cocktail Party. Complete with a sandy beach and breathtaking views, the yacht club was the perfect place to catch up on what’s been happening in the alumni community. The event was organized by the dedicated Careers & Alumni Relations Department from EU Switzerland.
A private lounge was reserved for our alumni, with beer, wine and good weather, on display for all to enjoy. Among those present were public-private partnerships technical expert, Véronique Rondeau, who has been with the United Nations in various roles since 2010, having graduated from EU in 2015 with a Master of Business Administration.
EU Switzerland staff onsite were Managing Director Luc Craen, Communication and Public Relations Lecturer Stef de Jong, Academic Coordinator Julija Atanasovski and Careers & Alumni Coordinator Tatiana Sunshine.
EU alumni were happy to reconnect with their peers and expand their business network, openly sharing personal and professional experiences that had happened in their lives since graduating. Career counseling was also on hand for alumni seeking job-related advice from talented EU staff in the area.
Again, a big congratulations to Yazan Chachati, the lucky alumnus to win the coveted EU Branded Wenger watch raffle.
